Registrar (ASR) recently conducted the annual surveillance audit of
Walden Security’s ISO®9001:2008 Quality Management System for the
Knoxville, TN and Nashville, TN branch offices, led by director of
quality assurance Tom Shipley. Both branches scored perfectly in their
audits, earning zero non-conformances, therefore ASR has recommended
that Walden Security maintain ISO certification for the next twelve
months.

This audit marks the ninth consecutive year our QMS
has maintained certification. Obtaining company-wide ISO certification
confirms that Walden Security applies formalized business practices
and guarantees its service will conform to quality standards,
specifically in areas such as human resources, training, operations,
client service, documentation and contract compliance.

ASR auditor Gordon Cox also commended us for implementing two
Opportunities for Improvement that he previously recommended: GeoCheck
mobile patrol technology and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) client
reports.

“While
in some ways quality management procedures may seem routine, we must
never view our responsibilities for providing consistent, quality
service as routine, said Walden Security President Michael S. Walden,
“We should also consider the significance of this accomplishment;
Walden Security is one of the few contract security companies in the
nation to achieve company-wide ISO certification.”

About Walden Security – Setting the Standard by Setting the Example™

Through a company-wide ISO® 9001:2008
Certified Quality Management System (QMS), Walden Security has earned
an award-winning reputation for business excellence and employee
satisfaction through the delivery of contract security services to
commercial and government facilities. The fifteenth largest security
firm in the nation, the WBENC-Certified Women’s Business Enterprise
(WBE) employs more than 3,000 armed and unarmed security
professionals. Walden Security is SAFETY Act designated and ranks

largest privately-held security companies, will enter the Dallas-Fort
Worth market by opening an office in Las Colinas on March 3. It will be
led by Nancy Montgomery, an industry veteran with 21 years experience –
including 17 in Dallas – where she has helped protect more than 60
Class A office buildings and Fortune 500 corporate campuses.

“People in Dallas-Fort Worth know Nancy Montgomery, and
they know her reputation for building successful client partnerships
and delivering exceptional customer service,” said Walden Security
President Michael S. Walden. “Those are exactly the same qualities
we’ve always used to build our company and I am excited about adding
Nancy to the Walden Security team.”

The Dallas-Fort Worth expansion marks the latest milestone
for Walden Security, which started more than 20 years ago with a
business card and a handshake. Today, it’s the nation’s 10th largest
privately-held contract security firm, providing a range of security
services for a diverse roster of commercial and government facilities.

The Dallas office will be located at 511 East John
Carpenter, a Cousins property in Las Colinas. Walden Security expects
to hire about 100 field security professionals in the coming months –
including HR, Operations and Training managers, and that number will
continue to grow as Walden Security quickly expands its local presence.

Montgomery has previously been successful opening offices in cities such as Dallas, New York and Atlanta.

“What drew me to Walden Security is that it believes that
people still do business with people, not companies,” Montgomery said.
“Unlike so many others in our industry, Walden Security focuses on
building long-term relationships with both its customers and its
employees, rather than expanding by mergers or acquisitions, I’m
excited about working with our customers here because I’ve always done
that, especially the past 17 years in Dallas.”
