Walden Security Announces Two Business Development Manager Hires
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Walden Security, one of America’s largest privately-held security companies, has hired Andrew Seward as Business Development Manager, based out of the Charlotte, NC regional office, and Chasen Thomas as Marketing and Business Development Manager, based out of the company’s Corporate Headquarters in Chattanooga, Tenn. The addition of these two positions within the Commercial Services Division will help Walden Security continue its year over year, double digit, organic growth in existing and new markets. Both Seward and Thomas’ experience with business technology services will also help market Walden’s newly launched Central Technology Center.
“It’s an exciting time to be part of Walden Security,” said Walden’s EVP Sales and Marketing Lauren Tudor. ”Expanding our business development team with the addition of Andrew and Chase increases our ability to share our story that after more than 25 years in business, every day we remain committed to deliver on our promise to provide the best security services at the greatest value.”
Andrew Seward’s main focus as Business Development Manager is to expand the company’s service footprint across the east coast region, particularly in the Carolinas and Virginia. Before joining Walden, Seward was an IT sales consultant with the Network Team in Charlotte. Before that, he served as a law enforcement officer with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police. Seward earned a bachelor’s degree in government and international relations from the University of Virginia after serving a five year tour in the United States Navy where his accomplishments were recognized by the United States Senate in a letter of appreciation for his work with underprivileged children in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia.
Marketing and Business Development Manager Chasen Thomas is the latest addition to the Walden Security sales and marketing team. Bringing five years’ experience in business-to-business digital marketing strategy and sales, Thomas will develop tools to help the company promote its integrated physical security service and security technology offerings. He is also responsible for new customer acquisition across Alabama and Tennessee. Thomas came to Walden after working as a business development executive with Chattanooga-based digital marketing firms Lift 1428 and as digital marketing specialist with AREA 203. He earned a bachelor’s degree in consumer marketing and a master’s degree in brand marketing and market research from the University of Alabama.
