Security Officer Nate Weaver has been recognized as Officer of the Month (OOM) twice during his 3-year tenure. The first OOM recognition was in 2024, following his effective management of a tense situation after the termination of an employee. Most recently, he was awarded OOM in April 2025 after an employee at his site submitted an appreciation letter. Nate works at a large manufacturing site, where most of his day is spent on roving patrols. It speaks volumes that he continues to make such a significant impact at his site, as evident in the letter below.

I wanted to take a moment to recognize the outstanding work Nate has consistently delivered as our security partner. Over the past year, I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with him and have witnessed, time and again, his dedication, professionalism, and strong presence. Nate embodies what it means to be a true security professional—approachable, proactive, and deeply committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment.

• Reliability & Flexibility: He consistently goes above and beyond, especially when coverage is tight, or situations are complicated.
• Situational Awareness: Nate is always observant and engaged when people enter and exit the building. He acknowledges folks, creating a sense of awareness and security.
• Active Presence: He frequently conducts rounds inside the building and throughout the parking lot, helping employees feel calm and protected.
• Approachable Professionalism: Nate strikes the perfect balance between being respectful, professional, and kind without being overly formal or intimidating—a quality not always easy to find in security professionals.
• Proactive Mindset: I’ve lost count of how many times he’s intercepted potentially difficult situations or offered thoughtful, preventative suggestions that helped us avoid issues.
